Motorola recently launched the successor to their highly successful midrange smartphone the MotoG. The previous generation MotoG (2014) was not as successful as its predecessor MotoG (2013) as it had to face stiff competition from the other Chinese brands and also the phone was did not have any major upgrades to attract the buyers. Thus Motorola have realized that they need to offer a lot more at a very competitive price if they really want to compete with the likes of Xiaomi, One Plus, Gionee and even Micromax. With MotoG 2015 (3rd Gen) we find that Motorola has made a serious attempt to win back the confidence of buyers and specification not only look good on paper but also delivers performance wise. The…

Samsung Galaxy S4: Looks Impressive With New Price

Thursday, February 26th, 2015 Amritesh no responses

Samsung recently slashed the price for their 2013 flagship device. It is now available on e-retail stores at Rs 17,999/- ($ 290) approx. The phone does look as an interesting buy at this price. But as far as Samsung’s marketing strategy is concerned it seems pretty weird in my opinion. On one hand they are slashing down the prices of some their premium predecessor devices while launching new devices powered by low specs but with premium price tag. If one decks up the newly launched Samsung phones against Galaxy S4 you can’t help feeling that this older generation phone will come out as a winner. It can also be that Samsung is trying to expand its market reach by lowering the…

Samsung launched their Galaxy A Series Smartphones few weeks back which in my opinion boasts of mediocre specifications but comes with premium price tag. These phones have metallic unibody design which is a welcome change from the stables of Samsung. The Galaxy A3 phone has been launched with a price tag of around Rs 20,000/- ($ 320) approx. The phone does look as a major improvement over the previous generation of Samsung phones in terms of build and design but apart from the metal unibody design, the hardware specs are pretty modest for the price. The device is pretty thin at 6.9mm and weighs just 110 gms.It does sport the latest Snapdragon 410 chipset and GPU is also the latest Adreno…
